Pastor Miller entered full time ministry in 1974 as the Associate Pastor of Jackson Avenue Baptist Church in Lovington, NM. He also served as Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Borger, Texas before entering Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received his Masters of Divinity in 1980. Pastor Miller has served three churches as Senior Pastor: Central Baptist of Crandall, Texas for three years, First Baptist of Gruver, Texas for 16 years, and Eastern Hills Baptist in Albuquerque, NM since December, 1995. “God has given me a genuine love for His bride, the Church.”

Pastor Miller and his wife, Camille, were married in 1966. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren. Camille, possesses a Masters in Education Administration, and serves as Co-Administrator of the Eastern Hills Christian Academy. “God has called both my wife and me to this ministry.”

Pastor Miller also teaches Bible classes for Wayland Baptist University at Kirtland Air Force Base and formerly served as the New Mexico Trustee for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also served for nine years as a volunteer Chaplain for the Albuquerque Police Department. “My love for the Word of God excites me and drives me to be Biblical in all ministry.
